NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies today announced that its Insurance Solutions Delivery Centre (ISDC) has been recommended for certification under the British Standard (BS) 7799.

It is a specification that defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, and documenting an effective information security management system.

"BS7799 certification assures HCL Technologies customers and partners that their information and data are protected through controlled procedures, policies, and best practices. KPMG recommended the BS7799 certification, after conducting an exhaustive audit across HCL Technologies's Insurance Solutions Delivery Centre," a company release said.
