Awards & Honours Kishore Biyani chosen Retail Face of the Year Our Bureau
New Delhi , Sept. 26 THE Managing Director of Pantaloon Retail, Mr Kishore Biyani, has been chosen as `Retail Face of the Year' by Images Retail Awards here. The selection process of the wards involved a nationwide industry poll and self-nominations after a performance assessment by KSA Technopak, Knowledge Partners and a jury chaired by McKinsey and Company, as per a statement by Images. Among those nominated were the Shoppers' Stop CEO, Mr B. S. Nagesh; the CEO of Crossroads, Piramyd Supermarket and Jammin, Mr K. N. Iyer; RPG Enterprises' retail venture CEO, Mr Raghu Pillai and McDonald's JV partner in India, Mr Vikram Bakshi. The awards included 13 categories in retail segments such as Fashion, Catering Services, Food and Grocery, Health and Beauty, Leisure, Consumer Electronics and Entertainment.
