State Govts, FIs must act together for improved infrastructure

IN order to retain the momentum of the improved performance logged by the infrastructure sector during 2003-04, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry has called for cooperation between the State Governments and the financial institutions to provide world-class infrastructure.

There is a need for State-specific agencies to take up the responsibility of developing various sectors for improved performance. They need to share accountability in case of delays in implementing various approved projects.
