Sun Pharma to buy three brands from US co for $5.4 m

SUN Pharma has said that it would purchase three brands from US-based Women's First Healthcare for a consideration of $5.4 million (about Rs 24.7 crore).

The brands are synthetic anti-bacterial Bactrim, gynaecological Ortho-Est and the anti-migraine preparation Midrin.

"These brands had been offered for sale as a part of WFHC's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing," according to a Sun Pharma communication.
