Microverse bags plant order

HYDERABAD: Microverse Automation Pvt Ltd of Pune has bagged an Rs 4.57-crore order from the Heavy Water Board of the Department of Atomic energy (DAE) for revamping the 15-year old automation system at the Heavy Water Plant in Manuguru in Andhra Pradesh.

Manuguru produces a major quantum of heavy water required for the nuclear power reactors of DAE. Microverse will implement the distributed control systems that it developed indigenously. The system was evaluated by the Heavy Water Board.

Mr Girish Mehendale, the Managing Director of the company, said in a press release that Microverse undertakes turnkey contracts for process automation and its reference list has over 125 installations in a broad spectrum of process industries in the country.
