New framework for medical device industry

GLOBAL Health Policy Group, (GHPG), an informal group of industry executives, is setting up a framework for regulating and legislating the medical device industry.

In the last 10 years, there has been a rapid growth in the medical device industry. While other countries such as Europe, the US and Australia are focusing on this issue, in India much importance has not been given.
