Copter crash probe

NEW DELHI: The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered an inquiry into the crash of a Dauphin helicopter while on a scheduled flight between Guwahati and Shillong this afternoon.

Official sources said that the helicopter which was on long-term lease with the Meghalaya State Government crashed at 1.15 p.m. shortly after taking off from Guwahati. Officials said that none of the 10 people on board the helicopter survived the crash.
