Radio/TV Variety - Sports BCCI meets Kohinoor Mandal
Kolkata , Sept. 21 AFTER making the dramatic move of cancelling the cricket telecast rights it had offered to Zee Telefilms at the Bombay High Court today, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has preferred to remain silent for the remaining part of the day. Late in the evening, a senior official of BCCI said that the organisation was not issuing any press statement as the office-bearers are waiting to get a copy of the order issued by the Bombay High Court. Sources in BCCI, however, said that most of the office-bearers were engaged in several rounds of meetings among themselves.
