A technician assembles a CPU at a hardware unit in Kochi. The market share of assembled computers, according to the All Kerala IT Dealers' Association, is 75 per cent in the State. Roughly one-third of the computer accessories in the market are said to be fake, with no after-sales service. The Association plans to set up a State-level cell to redress complaints by customers.
