Kanakamahalakshmi co-op bank declares dividend

VISAKHAPATNAM: Kanakamahalakshmi Co-operative Bank has earned Rs 1.79 crore gross profit during 2003-2004 and declared 15 per cent dividend.

In a press release here on Sunday after the annual general body meeting, Mr P. Raghunadha Rao, Chairman, said the bank had completed five years and another branch would be opened at NAD New Road here very soon.

He said the bank had 2,598 shareholders with a share capital of Rs 2.14 crore.

The reserves amounted to Rs 19 crore.

The bank had deposits of Rs 27.43 crore and advances of Rs 18.96 crore. The net profit amounted to Rs 65 lakh.

He said during the current financial year the bank had set itself the targets of Rs 35 crore (deposits) and Rs 25 crore (advances).
