MUMBAI'S newsstands will see a new magazine starting today.
Time Out Mumbai, a city-centric fortnightly, will hit the newsstands every alternate Wednesday priced at Rs 25 with an initial print run of 35,000 copies.
Published by Paprika Media Pvt Ltd, the magazine is a part of the well-known international chain Time Out, published in 51 cities across 35 countries. Cities such as New York, London, Dubai and Beijing have their own versions of Time Out.
The primary focus of the magazine is arts, entertainment and culture in Mumbai. The magazine will provide an expert's view on art, books, children, dance, health, film, television, music, theatre, nightlife, sports, restaurants and shopping.
According to the editorial team of the magazine, Mumbai has an emerging pop music scene, a vibrant classical Indian music circuit, innovative theatre, 30 art exhibitions each fortnight and over 75 night spots.
Ms Smiti Ruia is the publisher, Mr Andrew Humphreys, Managing Editor, and Mr Naresh Fernandes, Editor of the magazine.
