YES Bank to woo corporate clients

YES Bank, which commenced operations as a scheduled commercial bank, will initially target corporate and wholesale banking customers.

YES Bank said it would focus on key sectors food and agri-business and infrastructure management with a focus on agri-infrastructure and sustainable, renewable energy; life sciences and healthcare, technology, telecom, select manufacturing, engineering, textiles, commodities and energy.

The bank said it would will offer the entire range suite of business banking services including corporate banking, financial markets, investment banking and SME banking as well as treasury services. YES BANK will also partner with emerging small businesses for financial markets product offerings and for lending and transactional services, a press release said.

In the second phase, it will introduce private banking, merchant banking and roll out its retail network.
