THIRTEEN management institutes including four Indian Institutes of Management have been rated as the best category of business schools in the country by the All India Management Association (AIMA).
The Indian Institutes of Management and the management schools of IIT Delhi and Mumbai have retained their positions as the top business schools of the country.
The IIMs at Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Bangalore and Kolkata are joined in the super league `A+' category by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (Jamshedpur), MDI (Gurgaon), SP Jain (Mumbai), NITIE (Mumbai), FMS (Delhi), management schools of IIT Delhi and Mumbai and the Institute of Rural Management (Anand), as per the AIMA ratings released on Friday.
There was only one change in the super league this year with Xavier Institute of Management (Bhubaneswar) making an entry.
The other 12 retained their places in the list. About 300 institutes, with 84 new entrants, took part in the AIMA survey, which rated the schools on the basis of admissions and placements, infrastructure, industry interface, corporate governance and intellectual capital.
Apart from the super league category, the survey rated 13 institutes in `A+' category, 53 in `A', 46 in `B+', 39 in `B', 56 in `C+' and 63 schools in the `C' category.
