Tata Tele plans big push in AP

HYDRABAD: Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) on Wednesday announced the launch of telecom services in Anantapur town that would cover fixed wireless and mobile to customers. The company plans to gradually roll out services in Hindupur, Gooty, Guntakal, Kadiri, Kalyanadurg, Penukonda, Puttaparthi, Rayadurg and Tadipatri.

The Chief Operating Officer, Andhra Pradesh Circle, Tata Teleservices, Mr Prabhat Pani, in a statement said, "Today's launch is just a small step in our plans to expand our services in Rayalaseema, where we plan to be present in 33 towns by the end of December this year. Anantapur is a key focus area for us and we plan to expand Tata Indicom services to 11 towns in the district within the next 90 days." Tata Indicom is now present in Anantapur and Dharmavaram.
