India Development Gateway begins operations

New Delhi , Aug. 31

INDIA Development Gateway, a joint initiative of the Indian Government and Development Gateway Foundation, Washington, has commenced operations. "The India Development Gateway is a part of the global network of 58-country gateway. The Indian country gateway is an enabler of development by improving people's lives through partnerships and information systems that provide access to knowledge for development," Mr S. Ramakrishnan, Director-General of Centre for Development for Advanced Computing, said at a conference here.
