Tourism hubs to come up in 31 villages

New Delhi , Aug. 20

THE Government has identified 31 villages across the country to be developed as tourism hubs. Besides developing infrastructure in and around these villages, art, culture, handicrafts and other traditional heritage will be showcased with the active participation of the local people.

A national workshop to discuss implementation plan at all the project sites was inaugurated by the Minister of State for Tourism, Ms Renuka Choudhury, here today.
