AMP Sanmar, NIA in cross-selling deal

CHENNAI: AMP Sanmar and New India Assurance on Thursday entered into an agreement to cross sell each other's insurance policies. The aim of the agreement is to meet a wider range of a customer's needs through one agent.

AMP Sanmar's press release said that the tie-up is the first of its kind. New India is a nationalised general insurance company, while AMP Sanmar is a private life insurance company.

Training programmes for the agents is to start shortly.
