Cultivation Drip irrigation contract Our Bureau
The Andhra Pradesh Government has announced a subsidy of 90 per cent for the installation of drip irrigation systems in bio-diesel crops like Jatropha. It has reallocated the area to short listed companies and Netafim India has been allocated an area of 15,690 hectares of the project. According to Mr Zvi Feler, Managing Director of Netafim India, the company has already started installing drip irrigation systems in the area allocated to it and is also working on a strategy to invest more in improving supply chain in the State. In a press release here on Tuesday, Mr Feler stated that the company was currently engaged in the execution of various wasteland development and micro irrigation projects across the country.
