Making this possible is the Campus Wide Network and E-Commerce Solution at the Vijayawada Wholesale Commercial Complex and Welfare Society, which was formally inaugurated by the Chief Minister Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, on Sunday.

Zoom Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad implemented the project with the initiative of the Vijayawada Wholesale Commercial Complex & Welfare Society.

It was supported by the Vijayawada, Guntur, Tenali, Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority (VGTM-UDA). The total cost of the project is Rs 2 crores.

The Commodity traders community would get access to Internet/intranet pertaining to the wide gamut of business and commercial transactions throughout the world.

The project involved the networking of the entire campus of the Vijayawada Wholesale Commercial Complex and Welfare Society with the new generation optical fibre, which would facilitate very high-speed data transfer.

It also enables video and voice networks with adequate security.
