BHEL Q1 sales up 13.1 pc

NEW DELHI: BHEL has recorded a net profit of Rs 23.5 crore on sales of Rs 1,275.6 crore during the first quarter ended June 30.

During the corresponding period in the previous year, the company recorded a net loss of Rs 11.05 crore on sales of Rs 1127.01 crore. This translates into a 308 per cent rise in profits and a 13.1 per cent rise in sales.
