Hyderabad , July 28

THE Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) has announced that Dr P.V. Appaji has assumed charge as its new Executive Director here on Wednesday.

Before this, he was the Director of the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), Government of India. He would serve the Pharmexcil on deputation from NPPA for a period of three years, the council said in a press release.
