Former Glaxo official launches HR consultancy firm

FORMER Director of GlaxoSmithKline has started a consultancy in human resource management with an emphasis on training in `managing transition from traditional management by controls to management by values'.

Mr N. Ahemdali, who after a long stint in GlaxoSmithKline as a Regional Director HR , has announced the launch of Cornucopia Asia, a HR consultancy company .

The company, with its base in Bangalore, will have its centres in Mumbai, Colombo, Dhaka and Singapore.

Mr Ahemdali said that as he was associated with the `brick and mortar' company, he would be concentrating on the traditional sectors for imparting his training programmes.

He said Cornucopia will have HR and management experts in its advisory board.
