Indian Hotels Q1 profit after tax at Rs 6.40 cr

Mumbai , July 20

INDIAN Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) on Tuesday reported a profit after tax of Rs 6.40 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as against the previous corresponding Rs 3.76 crore.

Total income was Rs 168.86 crore (Rs 137.66 crore), including sales and other operating income of Rs 159.40 crore (Rs 129.63 crore).

According to an official statement, room revenues for the just ended quarter grew by 27 per cent due to a combination of higher ARRs and occupancies. F&B revenues for the quarter recorded a 16 per cent increase.
