P.K. Mohapatra takes over as MMA President

Chennai , July 19

MR P.K. Mohapatra, President and Chief Executive of RPG Enterprises, has taken over as President of the Madras Management Association (MMA) for 2004-05 after being elected to the post at its 48th annual general meeting.

He also oversees the management of all IT and telecom companies in the RPG group, according to a press release. In addition, he holds the position of Chairman, Education Sub-committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry, of which he was the Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Council for 2002-03.

Mr D.P. Padmanabhan, Managing Director, Indcon Structurals Pvt Ltd, has been elected Senior Vice-President while Mr C.K. Ranganathan, Chairman and Managing Director of CavinKare Pvt Ltd, has been chosen Vice-President.
