Milma token strike on July 15

Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Employees of the Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (Milma), affiliated to INTUC, CITU and AITUC, will go on a token strike for 24 hours from 10-30 p.m. on July 15 to protest against the non-implementation of the revised pay scale.

According to Mr Xavier Perreira, Convener of the Joint Action Council, the employees were resorting to direct action since the Milma management had not implemented the revised pay scale even after eight months of signing the long-term agreement.
