Alliances & Joint Ventures Marketing - Strategy Kamineni Hospital pact on health insurance card Our Bureau
Kolkata , July 11 KAMINENI Hospitals of Hyderabad has tied up with National Insurance for a tailor-made and value-added health insurance card for patients intending to avail themselves of medical services at NIC. Mr Gutam Naha, Group Vice-President (Marketing), Kamineni, told newspersons here that the new product would be launched on August 15. "The Kamineni medical insurance card for four in the family would cover existing ailments also," Mr Naha said. It will also have few more value-additions over the NIC's product. The new card would be marketed by Kamineni alone. Kamineni has also rolled out a franchise system by which local partners could run information centres at specified locations in the country and provide treatment-cum-hospital tourism packages at prefixed rates. "Instead of moving out to the patients, we have modelled our expansion plan on attracting them to us for specialised treatment at affordable rates. The packages would include all arrangements necessary for the patient and the escorts." It will also set up a telemedicine network in association with local partners in different corners for specialised consultations and diagnostic services.
