Chennai , July 6

OZONE Ayurvedics has launched three more products under the Nomarks brand. The company is also eyeing other extensions such as lotion and moisturising cream.

Speaking to Business Line here, Mr Parminder P.S. Sandhu, Vice-President, Ozone Ayurvedics, said the company's aim was to expand the brand portfolio with unique products. The company's elbow cream was one such, he said, adding that skin care in India has moved beyond facial care.

The new products include a face gel, a fruit face pack and a walnut scrub with aloe vera. The 75 ml gel would cost Rs 58 and the other two, Rs 49 and Rs 50 respectively for 50 gm packs.

The Rs 32-crore Nomarks brand has 44 per cent share of the market for its scar-reducing cream, Mr Sandhu said, adding that it created the category. The Nomarks cream is exported to 20 countries including those in West Asia, South-East Asia and Europe, Mr Sandhu said, adding that the company expected Rs 18 crore from exports this year. It is eyeing a turnover of Rs 52 crore in 2004-05. Ozone Ayurvedics also makes a herbal eyecare product called Itis.

The company has earmarked Rs 12 crore to promote the Nomarks brand this year. The brand would use only select television channels, Mr Sandhu said.
