Lecture by US cardiologist

HYDERABAD: Dr John A. Framer, a senior cardiologist from the US, would address a series of lectures during his three-day visit to the city beginning July 7.

He would speak on `Cardiovascular disease - a global health issue' at National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) and on `Risk factors for cardiovascular disease and their relevance to the Indian Sub-continent' at Hotel Taj Banjara on July 7. The following day, he would speak on `Chronic management of coronary artery disease - therapeutic principle' at Hotel Viceroy, a press release from Mediciti said.

On July 9, he would talk on `Management of acute myocardial infarction' at Hotel Fortune Katriya.

Mr Framer would also visit Mediciti facility, the release added.
