Alliances & Joint Ventures Marketing - Channels and Franchises Sarvotham ties up with Starr Healthcare to market nutraceuticals Our Bureau
Hyderabad , July 2 SARVOTHAM Remedies Ltd (SRL) has entered into an alliance with the US-based Starr Healthcare Enterprises Inc, a nutraceuticals producer, for marketing the latter's `Herbals First' range of products in India. The SRL Chief Executive Officer, Mr V.V. Rao, told newspersons that the company would shortly launch seven nutraceutical products imported from the US under the agreement. The profile includes products that help prevent and control prostate cancer, polycystic ovarian disease, menopausal syndrome, stress and strain of men and women, hepatitis and decay of cartilage of the joints. The Starr Healthcare Director, Dr Ramesh Ramayya, said the US company has developed nearly 100 products which would be launched in the emerging markets including India in a phased manner. "We have a wide range of products to prevent and supplement wide variety of health disorders that affect a significant percentage of people. We are currently producing the `Herbal First' range of products in the US facilities that meet requirements of Federal Agencies in America, Europe and Asia," he said.
