Kale Consultants bags Continental order

Hyderabad , June 29

KALE Consultants has clinched a deal from Continental Airlines for its proration solution and has received International Air Transport Association (IATA) approval along with another company, for deployment in other airlines as well.

The company is in parleys with several other international airliners to deploy this solution.

The Managing Director of Kale Consultants, a Mumbai-based technology solutions provider for the airlines industry, Mr Vipul Jain, told Business Line that Apex, a product that handles passenger ticket proration, has been chosen by Continental Airlines,

"Since the journey involves more than one airliner, the sharing of revenues is a critical process. The proration engine in the Apex system enables an airliner to comply with the IATA rules, and various bilateral arrangements.
