MyTVS ties up with MyVakil for legal help on road

Chennai , June 28

MYTVS 24X7 Emergency Services, the road assistance service from the TVS group, can now offer legal assistance to its customers. It has tied up with MyVakil.com Pvt Ltd, a company that uses information technology to offer legal and taxation services.

Through the agreement signed on Monday, MyVakil has become MyTVS's nodal agency to refer legal counsels. A customer stranded on the road needing legal assistance, will just have to contact MyTVS 24X7 to have a legal counsel arrive at the spot, according to Mr R. Srivatchan, Vice-President, T.V. Sundram Iyengar & Sons Ltd.

Initially, this facility will be available at 28 places across Tamil Nadu where 32 lawyers will be on call. This is a value addition to the MyTVS emergency service that at present offers mechanical service assistance, towing facility, cab and ambulance services, he said.

Mr Srivatchan said that MyTVS has over 1,500 members and its membership is growing fast. In the last six months it has handled about 1,000 calls seeking assistance.

Through MyTVS, customers have access to 11 mechanical services providers, 32 cab services, 37 ambulance services and hospitals.

Mr Karti P. Chidambaram, Joint Managing Director, MyVakil.com, said that the agreement makes available to road users, a one-of-a-kind service when they needed it most.

MyVakil has over 200 legal experts on its panel, and it can source specialised services when required, offer comprehensive and assured-quality legal and taxation services.
