COIMBATORE: A conference on `Driving exports through lean manufacturing' will be held here on Friday.

Lean manufacturing seeks to eliminate waste by focussing on production costs, product quality and delivery, and worker involvement. Aimed at senior industry personnel, the meet is being jointly organised by the Jasubhai Group (publisher of Industry 2.0 magazine), and SAP India, provider of business software solutions, according to a release.
