New Products & Services Bajaj `CT100' launched in AP Our Bureau
Addressing news correspondents on the occasion, the Bajaj Auto Regional Manager, Mr B.K. Senapathy, said the new motorcycle was designed to attract the entry-level segment with its competitive pricing and unusual mileage and also to wean away volumes from the large executive segment with its performance and attractive styling. According to him, the bike offers a mileage of 100 km per litre thanks to its digital CDI with twin maps that helps in ensuring optimum delivery of fuel economy. Stating that over three lakh two-wheelers were being sold in the AP market currently, he said nearly 60 per cent of them were being sold through hire purchase mode. According to him, the two-wheeler financing was earlier met by the non-banking finance companies and now gives banks a great opportunity. The SSVAL Managing Director, Mr K.V. Babul Reddy, said his dealership firm currently contributes over 40 per cent of the market share of Bajaj two-wheelers in Hyderabad.
