Financial Services Geojit to launch `Platinum Club' in Kochi Our Bureau
Kochi , June 16 GEOJIT Financial Services Ltd will launch `Platinum Club', a new wealth management facility for high net worth investors on Thursday. Addressing a press conference in Kochi, Mr C.J. George, Managing Director of Geojit Securities said: "This is possibly the first time that a stock broking firm in India is entering into the wealth management arena, which has traditionally been the sole prerogative of multinational banks in India. We plan to start Geojit Platinum Clubs in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore, Mangalore, Chennai and Coimbatore to start with." These clubs will offer a whole range of wealth management services to high net worth individuals. The services include portfolio management services tailored to the risk return profile of the investor, updates on portfolio performance, concise equity market research reports, advisory services on a variety of financial products such as equities and derivatives, commodity futures, financial products like mutual funds, insurance etc. Further a dedicated wealth management advisor supported by an experienced team at the Platinum Club offices will service each member. Mr A.P. Kurian will launch Geojit Platinum Club on June 17 at Kochi, and the keynote address will be delivered by Mr Mahesh Vyas, Managing Director of the Centre for Monitoring the Indian Economy.
