HYDERABAD: Indo-French Center for Groundwater Research (IFCGR) at the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) here is organising `Unesco regional training workshop' on groundwater dynamics in hard rock acquifers during June 17-21.

Prof. K. Harinarayana, Vice-Chancellor, University of Hyderabad, will inaugurate the workshop, which has attracted participants from water related ministries and universities from Kyrgystan, Kazakhastan, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Kenya, Nepal and 19 Indian participants.

The Indian contingent would be from the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources, Central and State Groundwater Departments and Universities, according to a release from NGRI.
