Eight children between the ages of 8 to 14 years from West Bengal discuss their story line during the Toonz India's Children'z Animation Workshop, in Kolkata.

The workshop is a unique venture of Toonz Animation India Pvt Ltd and in association with Toonz Webel Academy aimed at promoting animation among the young talents of the country. The animated films made by children at the workshop have gone to garner top honours at several film festivals around the world. These eight winners selected from 1,600 applicants will interact with veteran animation professionals, learn all about the art of animation and concurrently direct their own animated films based on their stories. They in turn will even lend their own voices for their films. The films will be ready to telecast on Children's Day and talks are being held to premiere these films as a part of International Film Festival in Kolkata this year.
