People Turner appoints Vivek Krishnani as Marketing Director Our Bureau
New Delhi , June 10 TURNER International has appointed Mr Vivek Krishnani as Director, Marketing, Cartoon Network and POGO India. He was earlier with Radio City, where he was in charge of marketing and strategic planning. Mr Krishnani appointment follows the appointment of Ms Monica Tata as the Head of Turner India Advertising Sales earlier this year. In a statement, Mr Rob Gilby, Vice-President - Network Development and Strategic Marketing, Turner Entertainment Network's Asia, Inc (TENA) said: ``We are very pleased to have a professional like Mr Vivek on board with us. Mr Vivek's experience in the entertainment domain will strengthen the existing marketing department and maintain the leadership positions of Cartoon Network, and POGO in the kids' entertainment industry.''As Director, Marketing, Mr Krishnani's responsibilities include providing strategic direction to both the Cartoon Network and POGO brands as well as programming marketing efforts. He will work closely with other Turner departments such as advertising sales, cartoon network enterprises, programming and creative services to drive awareness and demand for Turner's brands and properties as well as to drive initiatives to support revenue growth in India.
