Musharraf doctrine

This is with reference to "Musharraf doctrine" (Business Line, June 9). It is good for India that the new government is coming to grips with the Kashmir problem within days of assuming office after some initial dithering by its External Affairs Minister.

The Kashmir problem cannot brook any further delay in its resolution.

India's only hope in combating terrorism from across the border lies in strengthening Gen Musharraf's hands in his country in his internal war against `terrorism'.
