NMPT bags award for implementing Hindi

MANGALORE: The Mangalore Town Official Language Implementation Committee has given "Award for excellence" to New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT).

A press release by the NMPT said here on Tuesday that the trust received the award for its performance in implementing Hindi as official language during 2003-04. NMPT is bagging the award for the 12th time since the inception of the committee in 1986, the release added.
