APSFC sets loan target at Rs 500 cr

THE Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) has targeted to sanction loans to the tune of Rs 500 crore and recover an equal amount during the current financial year. The targets have been set at the two-day Annual Officers Conference of the corporation.

According to an APSFC press release here on Monday, the action plan evolved at the conference envisages intensification of customer contact programmes and encouragement of agro processing and other industries having good employment potential.

Since its establishment 48 years ago, APSFC has financed 82,844 tiny, small and medium scale industrial units with a project cost not exceeding Rs 12 crore and service sector units with a maximum project cost of Rs 20 crore.
