Sunil Goyal elected to CAPA board

New Delhi , May 28

THE President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Mr Sunil Goyal, has been elected member of the board of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA).

An ICAI official said that the election took place at the meeting of CAPA Assembly of Delegates (AGM) held recently. The board of CAPA consists of 10 elected members from amongst the constituents of CAPA.

CAPA, which is a regional body of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), represents the national accountancy organisation in the Asia-Pacific region. The confederation represents about 7 lakh accountants from 31 national accountancy organisations in 21 countries across the globe.
