Events `Indian cos must tap Singapore linkage to build Chinese ties' Our Bureau
Chennai , May 7 SINGAPORE can be a major link between India and China in trade development. It can help Indian companies to do business in China and vice-versa. For instance, in the IT sector, Indian companies can collaborate with Singapore firms to enter the Chinese market. This is the strategy that Satyam Computers adopted, according to Mr Pradeep K. Menon, Executive Director, Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. There are other sectors, including education and healthcare, in which Singapore can play a major role in developing a link between Indian and Chinese firms, he said at a seminar on "Singapore's central role in India-Asean business linkages". The seminar was organised by the India-Asean-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
