Alliances & Joint Ventures Money & Banking - Consumer Finance Canara Bank signs MoU with Bajaj for auto finance Our Bureau
Hyderabad , May 7 CANARA Bank has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bajaj Auto Ltd to finance Bajaj two-wheelers. In a press release here, the bank said as per the MoU, Canara Bank would offer loans for purchase of Bajaj two-wheelers at 9.5 per cent to its customers across the country. The bank said its customers can avail loans up to Rs 1 lakh under this scheme for purchase of Bajaj two-wheelers. This new loan scheme is being launched under the bank's existing `Canmobile' scheme, which provides loan for purchase of vehicles to the bank's customers. The bank's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr R.V. Shastri, said, "We are delighted to announce that our customers will benefit from cheaper loans for purchase of Bajaj two-wheelers pursuant to the bank entering into a memorandum of understanding with Bajaj Auto Ltd. We invite our customers to avail loans under this scheme while purchasing two-wheelers and reap benefits by savings in interest costs."
