Kochi Port cancels 4 boat licences

Our Bureau

KOCHI: The Kochi Port has cancelled the licences of four private boats plying in the channel for failing to comply with the provisions of the Cochin Harbour Craft Rules, 1947. The order comes in the wake of a recent tragedy in which a four-year-old boy and his father drowned after they fell into the backwaters from a boat.
