The Hindu Business Line : Zodiac launches summer collection

ZODIAC Clothing Company Ltd (ZCCL) has launched Zodiac Exclusive Spring Summer'04 Collection. Labelled `Cool Collection', the check and stripe cotton shirts make a big comeback this year with the trendy lustrous `Sateen' weave en vogue this season.

Says Ms Vinita Shridharani, Marketing Head, Zodiac: ``The Zodiac Spring/Summer '04 is international in style and colour trends adapted for the Indian summer keep you cool and comfortable.''

The collection features linenand uses fifties mercerised cotton as the fabric, unlike the two-ply mercerised utilised in the earlier Zodiac Florentine summer collection 2003, keeping in mind the shift in consumer inclination towards linen this summer.

The colours used in this collection include a palette of sunny yellow, azure blue, earthy tans and pearly whites for the shirts breathe-easy fabrics, sunshine colours, much in line with colour range offered by international colours, sources said.

ZCCL has its manufacturing facilities in India (Karnataka, Gujarat, Mumbai) and nationwide sales and distribution network and design.

It also has sales offices in 3 of the 5 fashion capitals of the world — New York, London and Dusseldorf. They manufacture and market two brands, Zodiac and Zod.
