People New ED for BHEL (Hyderabad) Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: Mr Bollepalli Ramachandra Rao has been appointed Executive Director of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL - Hyderabad). He succeeds Mr A.N. Jagadeeswaran. Mr Rao, who joined the unit in 1968 as a junior engineer, worked in various wings like new products, technology development and heat exchangers, before being elevated to the post of General Manager (Electrical Machines). He moved to BHEL (Jhansi) in 2001 as Group General Manager and later became its Executive Director. He also worked as ED for Rudrapur and Varanasi plants of BHEL.
