Chennai , April 21

CHEMFAB Alkalies Ltd has informed the stock exchange that it is considering issue of either equity or preference shares. Chemfab's Chairman and Managing Director had earlier told this newspaper that the company wanted to raise Rs 7 crore from the market.

Sources in the company told Business Line on Wednesday that the company had not yet decided on whether the fund raising would be through an issue of preference or equity shares. A decision on this will be taken at the company's board meeting on April 30, the sources said.
