Pratap Reddy quits IDBI Bank board

Mumbai , April 21

DR Pratap C. Reddy, the Founder-Chairman of the Apollo Hospitals group, has resigned from the board of IDBI Bank.

According to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the board of the bank which met here onWednesday to pass the accounts for the year ended March 2004, accepted the resignation of Dr Reddy.

Dr Reddy, who has been on the board for 8-9 months now, is known to have cited lack of time as the reason for his resignation since he occupies board seats on over 20 companies in India and overseas.
