Announcements VFS centre for UAE job aspirants Our Bureau
Thiruvananthapuram , April 20 VFS Attestation Services, part of the Swiss-headquartered Kuoni Travel Group, has announced the launch of services in Kerala for the benefit of job seekers to the UAE. Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Abdul Gafoor Faridi, Head of Dubai Processing Centre, and Mr Rakesh Raghavan, Unit Head (South), VFS Attestation Services, said an application centre had been opened here. It can be contacted at 0471-3096325/3096326). Almost 80 per cent of applicants to the UAE Embassy were from Kerala. The new office of the VFS Attestation Services would seek to complement the efforts of the Department of Non-Resident Keralites (Norka) in this regard. This would save job aspirants the trouble of travelling up to the Embassy concerned in New Delhi for completing the formalities. The agency would handle all administrative processes with emphasis on reducing processing time to enhance the comfort levels of the applicants. Aspirants should submit duly filled application forms, available free of charge at the application centres, with accurate details. Original and photocopies of certificates attested by the HRD Ministry supported by mark sheets in original and duplicates would also have to be furnished. The application fee has been fixed at Rs 1,400 per certificate inclusive of Embassy attestation charges. VFS AS Application Centre would deliver the certificates after complete attestation by the Ministry of External Affairs and the UAE Embassy. The process will be over between 15 and 20 working days.
