Pentamedia told to hold shareholders' meet

Chennai , April 14

THE Madras High Court has asked Pentamedia Graphics to hold a meeting of its shareholders on May 3 to seek their approval for a scheme of amalgamation between the company, Media Dreams Ltd, Kris Srikkanth Sports Entertainment Ltd, Intelvision Ltd and Mayajaal Entertainment Ltd.

The amalgamation will help the company that focuses on entertainment business to become a pure content creator and distributor, and meet growing competition from domestic and global markets. It will also help the company achieve internal synergy and consolidation in different segments of entertainment business the company is currently pursuing, said a release by Pentamedia.
